Sky Harbor's carpeting doesn't strike me as the kind of carpeting you'd want to find in an airport. To me, it looks like lots of little airplanes being mercilessly tossed around in cyclones. Really, airport carpet designers, really?

Sunrise at the hotel we stayed at the first night I arrived in Palma de Mallorca came all too quickly. There was not a lot of time to enjoy it since all we did was sleep, shower and leave bright and early to pick up our boat. Though, when we checked in and saw the view off the balcony, we couldn't resist running down to the beach to dip our feet in the Mediterranean under the midnight stars. It sorta made up for the fact that I had been in transit for 28 hours and my luggage didn't arrive with me.

This is the view off the back of our boat as we're here in the marina. Aside from a few short night runs, I haven't had any time off the boat. Got excited about my break today and wanted to run and get ice cream. But then I realized getting ice cream alone is sad. And besides, I convinced myself, I didn't need to be eating ice cream anyway. Also, I'd rather nap. My work day is roughly from six thirty in the morning until a quarter to eleven at night. I get a two hour midday break. I'm going to be honest and admit that this whole thing is taking a bit of getting used to. It's been crazy, but I hope we can settle into a guest-pleasing routine soon.

The view out our porthole these last few days.

Gah, love the first one. *paws at the beach* I want...
Yikes, with a 14 hour work day and only about 7 hours a night to sleep, I don't blame ya for wanting to nap during your break.
I love you!
